I remember when I first started to play golf.
I had no clue and no one to ask.
I needed clubs, so I went to a local sports store
where an older gentleman sized me up, picked
out some irons and a putter, told me "these will
be good for you" and off I went.
Bad idea.
Many frustrated years later and after being in the business for 10 plus years, I realized that I really could have used a "CLUB GUY" to walk me through the process and be available to answer my questions.
A "GUY" who would not let me waste money on
equipment I didn't need.
A "GUY" would could have given me advice on
teaching pros, courses to play, etc.
But like most beginners,
I didn't know what questions to ask or where
to actually start.
