I originally came in to your shop with my son to have his clubs re-gripped. Not only did you do a great job and offer your expertise on the best grips to buy, you also did the job on the spot (which is the first time I didn’t have to come back several days later to pick the clubs back up).
After that, you also allowed me to ask you for advice and help for my golf game. You were kind enough to help me with my clubs, offer several drills to work on, and even took the time to videotape my swing and let me see it from several different angles, including slow motion.
I’m big believer in customer service, but you go way above and beyond that. You are incredibly knowledgeable in your area of expertise, which is custom-fitting golf clubs for any level of golfer. But what is really impressive is your true desire to help every person that walks into your shop. It’s very obvious that you love what you do…and that you want to do everything you can to help ALL of your customers. I would recommend you to anyone who plays golf.

Before I went to see Curtis my average score was 85-86, 6 weeks later I was averaging 80-81 and had shot 2 73's, both during my club's Match play event. Everyone at the club was wondering how I had improved so much so fast!
Curtis is super easy to work with and has a way of getting you to understand what you should be trying to accomplish next. He fixed the loft/lie on my irons, and that made a huge difference. It's amazing to see the tape before, with ball marks all over the clubface, and then the after where all the ball marks overlap each other. He also has an indoor hitting area with computer analysis of your impact and ball flight. This makes working on your swing much easier and you can see feedback instantly without worrying about the weather.
Lastly, but just as important, there is a putting area. I had been looking for someone to help me fine tune my putting stroke and Curtis did a great job. I can stand over a put now and feel confident that I am going to hit it along the line that I have picked out. So if you want to work on you game and make big improvements, go see The Club Guy!

Curtis has been a valuable resource for me. As a beginner I was looking for someone who was willing to take the time to answer my questions and make me feel welcome.
Starting to play golf can be intimidating with all the rules, etiquette, and equipment options that come with the game.
Unlike the superstores where you feel like a number when you walk in, Curtis makes you feel like he is vested in your success. I would highly recommend "The Club Guy" to anyone who is starting to get into golf and wants an impartial source for advice and service.

I am a middle age lady that took up golf after retiring from the school system. With several lessons and much procticing I was still struggling. My ball flight and distance was terrible. I didn't seem to have any control, my clubs even felt heavy.
I almost gave up until a friend introduced me to Swing Sync. And after I went through a club fitting and got the correct clubs for me, my golf game really improved. I loved my irons so much, I had to get a new driver, too.
Thanks to Swing Sync I now enjoy the game of golf a lot more.

Dear Billy, I just wanted to thank you and Mike Atkinson for your time and knowledge in club fitting my kids and my students this past year. I knew once my kids were grown enough the Swing Sync technology would help them tremendously. My daughter is now a 2.8 index and my son is a +0.3 index. This past year, they both have become one of the best players in the State of Illinois and the country.
I have been playing with this technology for the past 20 years. What you have, no other company can produce. I have been teaching since 1985 and I find the students who play the clubs are just easier to work with. Once they are dialed in, then working one their swings become much easier. I have not played a lot the past few years because of my and my kids’ schedule.
I have been given many Nike Clubs being on their “Tiger Staff”. When I had all those clubs redone with Swing Sync technology, it made a world of difference. People think it is Nike doing the work. I have to explain it is the technology behind the shaft and fitting.
There is not a teacher in our area, or the country, for that matter that sees as many golf swings. I teach full time at the Oak Brook Golf Club and the winter months at The White Pines Golf Dome. The dome is the busiest range in the country during the winter months. My players have the buzz on how the technology works. I explain and educate them. I am not a marketing person, but the science behind this works and I continue to prove it.
My two students, John Wright and Brannon Lambert, who I brought to Pinehurst this fall, love them and practice less. They practice less because of lack of manipulation due to equipment. I will chart their success and I will keep in touch about my kids.
